This is the work of 23 lobbyists on Wall Street who are afraid that their gonna lose a tiny percent of their fortune because of the dear people on the internet.. as if its not enough that they robbed us of money, now they wanna take our freedom too.
Honestly, what more could the government take from us? The Internet was designed to be free and open- and we can’t let that be stopped- SOPA should be changed to something more truthful- SODA- Start Online Dictatorship Act. As Americans, our job is to fight for what’s free and what’s right. And this bill will take away possibly one of the last hopes the U.S. has of freedom (complete freedom). And besides, who really knows what the bill will do to the Web? The people who made it- but they feed us this crap about “Stop online piracy to protect America’s future!” If they want to protect America’s future, then they shouldn’t pass SOPA. And the fact that they want to ‘save’ the already rich and snobby artists who made the work that’s pirated- there will ALWAYS be people who won’t pirate. I readily admit that I pirate- but before you gaps and disregard everything you just read- read this- http://static.thepiratebay.org/legal/sopa.txt and read that pirating isn’t really all to bad.
